Disregard the warning when installing the mod and simply click OK.
Click Ignore when MO2 warns you again.
After installing the mod, right-click it and select Ignore missing data.

The “missing data” is not an issue. MO2 does not recognise the JSON file as a functioning mod but it does work as intended and automatically applies.
