Deleting the gate mesh will allow us to use Noble Skyrim’s superior retexture for the Solitude gate. The other folder contains a mesh for the rabbit which would overwrite another BSA-packed mesh later on; removing it is faster than unpacking the other mod’s archives.

Many of the patches selected here correspond to mods we have not installed yet. However, these mods will have instructions for removing conflicting assets so that Fixed Mesh Lightning takes priority wherever necessary.
While the mod doesn’t contain any actual SLE assets, this profile will compress the uncompressed textures to save space.

.The projecteddiffuse.dds is applied by the snow shader to various objects like rocks, roads, etc. If it does not perfectly match the regular snow01.dds texture, it will be very noticeable ingame as you can see in this comparison.

The other two update files (fixes) are skipped on purpose. They would be overwritten by other mods.

The mesh does not work well with Underground’s retexture. On the other hand, Underground’s imperial door meshes also use that specific retexture so I’d rather keep them and revert the portcullis meshes.
Using Cathedral Assets Optimizer will leave you unable to use the alchemy tables.
