STEP 14 - PATCHER

14.1 ENB LIGHT

This step is optional. Skip it if you did not install ENB Light.


14.1.1 Preparations

  • Delete your old ENB Light [Output].

14.1.2 Re-running the patcher

  • Launch zEdit through Mod Organizer 2.
  • Click Start Session and OK when the Load Order window comes up.
  • Click this icon in the upper right corner.
  • Click the blue Build button for the ENB Light Patcher.

14.1.3 Output

  • After re-generating ENBLight Patch.esp, you can close zEdit.
  • Save the new plugin when prompted.
  • Back in MO2, double-click your Overwrite and delete everything inside execpt for the new plugin, then close it again.
  • Rght-click the Overwrite and select Create Mod.
  • Name your new mod ENB Light [Output].
  • Move the mod below the PATCHER OUTPUT separator in the left pane and activate it.
  • The plugin will appear at the very bottom of your load order where you should leave it.

14.2 KNOW YOUR ENEMY PATCHER

This step is optional. Skip it if you did not install Know Your Enemy.


14.2.1 Preparations

  • Go to {Your Modding Folder}\ARCHIVE, find the Know Your Enemy archive and open it.
  • Double-click the zEdit patchers folder and the KnowYourEnemyPatcher-v0.0.0.zip inside to open the archive (it will be unpacked from the main archive which you can close now).
  • Navigate to {Your Modding Folder}\Tools\zEdit\modules.
  • Drag the KnowYourEnemyPatcher folder from the archive into that folder.

14.2.2 Running the patcher

  • When everything is loaded back up, click this icon in the upper right corner.
  • Select Know Your Enemy Patcher in the list on the left to customize the patcher:
    • Silver Perk: set to True
    • Effect Intensity: you can lower this value to tone down creature resistances
  • Once you have configured the patcher, go back to Build Patches.
  • Click the blue Build button for the Know Your Enemy Patcher.

14.6.3 Output

  • After generating your new know_your_enemy_patch.esp, you can close zEdit.
  • Save the new plugin when prompted.
  • Back in MO2, double-click your Overwrite and delete everything inside execpt for the new plugin.
  • Rght-click the Overwrite and select Create Mod.
  • Name your new mod Know Your Enemy [Output].
  • Move the mod below the PATCHER OUTPUT separator in the left pane.
  • The plugin will appear at the very bottom of your load order where you should leave it.

14.3 FNIS

14.3.1 Add executable

  • Open the Executables config window (here)
  • Enter FNIS under Title.
  • Point Binary at Mod Organizer 2\mods\Fores New Idles\tools\GenerateFNIS_for_Users.
  • Double-click GenerateFNISforUsers.exe to select it.
  • Click Add.

14.3.2 Generate FNIS

  • Select FNIS in the executable drop down and hit Run.
  • Check the following option in the bottom list:
    • “SKELETON Arm Fix”
  • Click Update FNIS Behaviour.
  • When it’s done, click Exit.

14.7.3 Output

  • Back in MO2, double-click your Overwrite.
  • Delete everything inside except for the tools and scripts folders.
  • Right-click your Overwrite and select Create new mod.
  • Name your new mod FNIS [Output].
  • Move it up in your mod order and place it below the PATCHER OUTPUT separator.
  • Activate it.
