STEP 14 - FINALISATION

14.1 CHECK FOR OLD FORM VERSION

  • Launch SSEEdit through Mod Organizer 2.
  • Click OK when the plugin selection window comes up to load all plugins.
  • Click OK again when asked about mod groups.
  • Wait until xEdit returns Background loader: finished.
  • Right-click anywhere and select Apply script.
  • Select the Check for old form version script (you can search by typing the name in Filter).
  • Click OK.

14.2 LOAD ORDER

  • Download Universal Load Order TXT manually from the guide’s mod page.
  • Open the archive and extract the loadorder.txt to Mod Organizer 2\profiles\{Gameplay}.
  • Overwrite when prompted.
  • Refresh (F5) Mod Organizer 2 and the load order changes will be applied.

14.3 FINAL PATCH

  • Download the GAMEPLAY – Conflict Resolution Patch from the guide’s mod page.
  • Place it below the CONFLICT RESOLUTION separator in Mod Organizer 2.

14.4 MERGES

14.5 ENB LIGHT PATCHER

This step is optional. Skip it if you did not install ENB Light.


14.5.1 Preparations

  • Delete your old ENB Light [Output] file.

14.5.2 Re-running the patcher

  • Launch zEdit through Mod Organizer 2.
  • Click Start Session and OK when the Load Order window comes up.
  • Click this icon in the upper right corner.
  • Click the blue Build button for the ENB Light Patcher.

14.5.3 Output

  • After re-generating ENBLight Patch.esp, you can close zEdit.
  • Save the new plugin when prompted.
  • Back in MO2, double-click your Overwrite and delete everything inside execpt for the new plugin.
  • Rght-click the Overwrite and select Create Mod.
  • Name your new mod ENB Light [Output].
  • Move the mod below the PATCHER OUTPUT separator in the left pane.
  • The plugin will appear at the very bottom of your load order where you should leave it.

14.6 KNOW YOUR ENEMY PATCHER

This step is optional. Skip it if you did not install Know Your Enemy.


14.6.1 Preparations

  • Launch zEdit through Mod Organizer 2.
  • Click Start Session and OK when the Load Order window comes up.
  • Click this icon in the upper right corner.
  • Select Install Module.
  • Navigate to Mod Organizer 2\mods\Know Your Enemy\zEdit patchers and double-click KnowYourEnemyPatcher-v0.0.0.zip.
  • zEdit will notify you that a restart is necessary for the changes to be applied. Click Restart now.
  • Once again, click Start Session and OK when the Load Order window comes up.
    • If it doesn’t restart automatically, go back to MO2 and start zEdit from there.

14.6.2 Patcher

  • When everything is loaded back up, click this icon in the upper right corner.
  • Select Know Your Enemy Patcher in the list on the left to customize the patcher:
    • Silver Perk: set to True
    • Effect Intensity: you can lower this value to tone down creature resistances
  • Once you have configured the patcher, go back to Build Patches
  • Click the blue Build button for the Know Your Enemy Patcher.

14.6.3 Output

  • After generating your new know_your_enemy_patch.esp, you can close zEdit.
  • Save the new plugin when prompted.
  • Back in MO2, double-click your Overwrite and delete everything inside execpt for the new plugin.
  • Rght-click the Overwrite and select Create Mod.
  • Name your new mod Know Your Enemy [Output].
  • Move the mod below the PATCHER OUTPUT separator in the left pane.
  • The plugin will appear at the very bottom of your load order where you should leave it.

14.7 RUN FNIS

14.7.1 Add executable

  • Open the Executables config window (here)
  • Enter FNIS under Title.
  • Point Binary at Mod Organizer 2\mods\Fores New Idles\tools\GenerateFNIS_for_Users.
  • Double-click GenerateFNISforUsers.exe to select it.
  • Click Add.

14.7.2 Generate FNIS

  • Select FNIS in the executable drop down and hit Run.
  • Check the following option in the bottom list:
    • “SKELETON Arm Fix”
  • Click Update FNIS Behaviour.
  • When it’s done, click Exit.

14.7.3 Output

  • Back in MO2, double-click your Overwrite.
  • Delete everything inside except for the tools and scripts folders.
  • Right-click your Overwrite and select Create new mod.
  • Name your new mod FNIS [Output].
  • Move it up in your mod order and place it below the PATCHER OUTPUT separator.
  • Activate it.

14.8 FIRST LAUNCH

  • Select SKSE from MO2’s executable drop-down menu.
  • Hit Run.
  • Once in the main menu, bring up the console by pressing the key above TAB (^ or ~).
  • Enter the following:
    • coc riverwood
  • A loading screen will follow after which you will find yourself transported to Riverwood with a test dovahkiin to run around with.
  • Spend at least 10 minutes ingame before you exit again.

Suggestions

  • Check out the new MCMs that are now added.
  • Head over to Embershard Mine and clear it out to get a feel for the new combat.
    • If you don’t know where that is, use the console command tmm 1 to unlock all map markers.
