STEP 11 - SOUND

Audio Overhaul for Skyrim (AOS)

Download and install:
Audio Overhaul Skyrim (3.2.0)
Weather Patch for {Your Weather Overhaul} – either Obsidian Weathers or Aequinoctium Weathers

Additional instructions #1:

  • Double-click Audio Overhaul Skyrim in your mod order (left pane).
  • Switch to the Filetree tab.
  • Right-click and delete the following folder:
    • SKSE

Additional instructions #2:
You can ESL-ify Audio Overhaul Skyrim – Aequinoctium Patch.esp (instructions). This is optional.
Obviously this is only relevant for those who chose Aequinoctium Weathers. The Obsidian Weathers AOS patch is already ESL-ified.

Notes:
So far the SKSE plugin included with AOS has not been updated for SKSE 2.0.15, however the mod will still work perfectly fine. The only thing that won’t work is saving changes to the new audio sliders added by AOS. They will reset with each restart of the game. SSE Engine Fixes includes an up-to-date fix for this.
As for the Enhanced Blood Textures Patch available on the mod page, it is already included in the GAMEPLAY – Conflict Resolution Patch and you do not need to install it.
