Last Steps

The Tweaks Merge

A number of mods have been grouped together under "Tweaks" and you probably already noticed they are all ESP-only mods. We will now merge them together into one handy Tweaks plugin.


Correct load order of all mods before merging

Merging instructions

  1. Launch Merge Plugins Standalone (which we installed during Core, Step 5) through Mod Organizer 2.
  2. Select your Skyrim SE profile and hit OK.
  3. Right-click > Check all and confirm.
  4. Wait for Merge Plugins Standalone to load up your plugins. Once it says ‘Background loader finished’ at the bottom, you may continue.
  5. Highlight all plugins you wish to merge. Right-click them and select ‘Errors > Check for errors’. No errors should be detected. Hit Close.
  6. Right-click your selected plugins again and select ‘Add to merge > <New Merge>’.
  7. Type in Tweaks [Merged] under ‘Name’ and Tweaks_Merged.esp under ‘Filename’. Then hit OK.
  8. Switch to the ‘Merges’ tab. Right-click your new merge and select ‘Build merge’.
  9. A new window will come up to process the merge. Once it’s completed, it will return the message ‘All done!’ and you can hit Close.
  10. Close Merge Plugins Standalone and return to Mod Organizer 2. Refresh (or re-start) MO2 and the new merge will appear at the bottom of your load order.
  11. Drag your new merge to the top of the Tweaks section and activate it. Uncheck all mods in the Tweaks section.
  12. In your load order (right pane), your Tweaks_Merged.esp should be just above your late loader mods (A Quality World Map, The Choice Is Yours, Immersive Dayspring Pass, Modern Brawl Bug Fix).

Conflict Resolution

Like before, conflict resolution has been split into a multitude of tiny patches that you can mix-and-match according to your load order before merging them together to a single plugin.


  • Download the Gameplay Patch Pack and select all options in the FOMOD that are relevant to you.
  • Place the mod and its plugins at the bottom of both mod and load order. Make sure everything is checked.
  • Follow the instructions below to merge all of your selected patches together, unless you only selected a single patch.

Merging instructions

  9. A new window will come up to process the merge. Once it’s completed, it will return the message ‘All done!’ and you can hit Close.
  10. Close Merge Plugins Standalone and return to Mod Organizer 2. Refresh (or re-start) MO2 and the new merge will appear at the bottom of your load order.
  11. Drag your new merge below the patch pack and activate it. Uncheck the patch pack in your mod order.
  12. In your load order (right pane), your CRPatch_Gameplay.esp should be at the very bottom.

Your Master Patch

Because we now have a good amount of patch-plugins at the bottom of our load order, we are going to merge them all together in order to save plugin slots. The following plugins can be merged:

Merging instructions

  3. Right-click > Uncheck all, then left-click > Check all to select all your plugins.
  4. Wait for Merge Plugins Standalone to load up your plugins. Once it says ‘Background loader finished’ at the bottom, you may continue.
  5. Highlight all plugins you wish to merge. Right-click them and select ‘Errors > Check for errors’. No errors should be detected. Hit Close.
  6. Right-click your selected plugins again and select ‘Add to merge > <New Merge>’.
  7. Type in Master Patch [Merge] under ‘Name’ and Master Patch.esp under ‘Filename’. Then hit OK.
  8. Switch to the ‘Merges’ tab. Right-click your new merge and select ‘Build merge’.
  9. A new window will come up to process the merge. Once it’s completed, it will return the message ‘All done!’ and you can hit Close.
  10. Close Merge Plugins Standalone and return to Mod Organizer 2. Refresh (or re-start) MO2 and the new merge will appear at the bottom of your load order.
  11. Place your new merge at the very bottom of your mod order and activate it. Uncheck all mods in your mod order that you merged together.
  12. In your load order (right pane), drag your Master Patch.esp to the bottom as well and make sure the plugin is activated.

Regenerating LOD

Return to either the SSELODGEN or the DYNDOLOD instructions. Make sure to remove your old TexGen and DynDOLOD output folders, then re-generate LOD for your now extended mod list.

First Launch

As usual we launch SKSE64 through Mod Organizer 2.


A Matter of Time
You can activate my custom preset through the MCM ingame (Load User Settings). The default hotkey is V, you can change it anytime.

Spell Perk Restrictions
After starting a new playthrough, open the console and type in the following to remove the restriction on Novice spells (otherwise the first perk is required to cast Novice spells):
set ANDR_IgnoreNoviceSpells to 1
